The development of Cloud Accounting has brought a wealth of advantages to the small business market. All this means it’s easier than ever before for us to work collaboratively to ensure our clients have the very best information at their fingertips.

With HMRC intent on increasing regulation for small businesses in the form of Making Tax Digital for Income Tax Self-Assessment (ITSA), we recognised a need for cost-effective, all-inclusive service for our clients. And while HMRC may have delayed the implementation of MTD for Income Tax, it has reiterated its commitment to businesses reporting quarterly profit figures to HMRC.
We understood that profit margins are tight in small businesses, and few would welcome additional software licence fees or accountancy costs in order to comply with MTD regulation, even if it meant having access to great financial information as a result. So we set about designing a service that could deliver an end-to-end financial package at a low cost.
We looked at every stage of our service and made it more efficient, using Xero from start to finish to eliminate time spent transferring information between software packages, removed admin processes that were not required for the smaller, simpler businesses, and ensured we were maximising the use of new digital solutions.
We then looked at how we could price this in a simple and easy-to-follow set fee structure that delivers what our clients need at the best value possible.
Our comprehensive package includes:
- Annual Xero software licence
- Full bookkeeping processing
- Submission of VAT and MTD returns (where applicable)
- Payroll and CIS processing (where applicable)
- Quarterly report pack
- Annual accounts production
- Personal and Corporate Tax return filing
- Online and telephone support
All you need to do is scan or snap your receipts and answer any questions we may have. We will take it from transaction level to final filing so you genuinely don’t have to worry about your accounting.

Amer has 15 years of cloud accounting experience, starting his career in a small local firm and then moving to a larger firm in London before joining FKCA in 2022 as a Small Business Manager and Digital Lead.
Amer is responsible for a portfolio of our small business clients to deliver a compliance package that ensures they receive a digital service designed to maximise efficiency while maintaining a quality service.
Alongside this with Amer’s passion for digital tools and technology, he oversees the digital working culture between FKCA and clients, whether it’s introducing clients to Xero, assisting with MTD, or researching new technologies, saving businesses time and making financial management much easier.
